Kazstarch plant in Shardara

A new industrial center for deep processing of corn is being formed in Shardara. The Kazstarch LLP project combines agriculture, modern production and prospects for expanding the production of Kazakh ingredients for the food and feed industry.

From raw materials to high added value products

Deep processing allows you to use corn grain much more efficiently than simply selling raw materials. From one type of agricultural product you can obtain starch, various types of molasses and syrups, feed components, corn germ and other products. This creates additional value within the country and creates new production chains.

Why is the project important for the region?

The location of the enterprise in the Turkestan region creates a stable demand for corn, stimulates the development of irrigated agriculture and opens up opportunities for farmers in the Shardara, Zhetysai, Maktaaral and neighboring regions. The project also involves creating jobs, developing professional competencies and increasing the tax base of the region.

Modern production model

The production complex is designed using automated equipment and systems for monitoring technological parameters. This approach is necessary for quality stability, batch traceability and production of products with specified characteristics for different industries.

Focus on domestic and export markets

Kazakhstani manufacturers of confectionery, drinks, bakery products, feed and other goods are interested in a stable supply of starch products. In the future, the company will be able to work not only with domestic customers, but also with partners in the countries of Central Asia and other export destinations.

Relevance of the project

The construction of a complex for deep processing of corn in the Shardara industrial zone is confirmed by official materials from government agencies of Kazakhstan. The first stage includes the infrastructure for receiving, drying and storing grain; production capacities are being introduced in stages.
