The quality of raw materials determines the stability of the technological process and the yield of finished products. Therefore, preparing corn for delivery should begin at the stage of harvesting and post-harvest processing.
Humidity
Grain that is too wet is stored worse and requires additional drying costs. Over-drying can also lead to grain damage and unnecessary costs. The target indicator must be clarified in the current procurement conditions.
Impurities and damage
Weed impurities increase the load on cleaning equipment. Broken, sprouted and damaged grains can worsen technological performance. It is recommended that the batch be cleaned and analyzed in-house before shipment.
Infestation and safety
The presence of live pests, moldy odor and signs of self-heating is not allowed. Depending on the intended use of the product, mycotoxins, pesticide residues and other safety indicators may be monitored.
Documents and identification
The supplier must provide correct accompanying documents, information about the origin of the lot and the means of transport. Separate storage of batches makes it easier to resolve issues when analytical results differ.
Discuss cooperation
Before shipment, inquire about the current purchasing conditions and laboratory requirements of Kazstarch, since parameters may change depending on the season and production program.
